An Immersive Experience in Nature, Leadership, and Purpose
Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone and into an unforgettable journey? Our Summer Camp for Youth (18 years and above) offers a unique opportunity to explore nature, develop leadership skills, and build meaningful connections—all within the breathtaking environment of Pahang National Park.
Participants will engage in guided nature activities, team challenges, reflective sessions, and leadership workshops—creating memories, friendships, and skills that last far beyond the camp itself.
Biodiversity and Sustainable Development Institute (IBSD)
The Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainable Development (IBSD) was established on June 3, 2020, under the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). IBSD is a research institute focusing on biodiversity (as one component of sustainable development) relevant to Malaysia, which is rich in tropical rainforest areas abundant with diverse flora, fauna, and natural resources. The biodiversity in Malaysia's tropical forests provides a wealth of information and new knowledge to be explored by scientists, while also serving as an ecotourism destination that impacts local communities. IBSD plays a crucial role in driving sustainable development and showcasing UiTM's role in the national and global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda. Through its research and initiatives, IBSD aims to contribute to the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity, as well as promote responsible ecotourism practices that benefit both the environment and local communities.
